Hanuman Ansh is closing in on the Rs 170-crore milestone at the Indian box office as the spiritual drama continues its successful theatrical run.

As the film completed 33 days in cinemas, director Vishal Chaturvedi, the producer and members of the cast met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow.

Pictures of the interaction were shared by the Chief Minister's Office on X.

The meeting included a discussion about the film and its depiction of Neem Karoli Baba and the Nath spiritual tradition. Yogi Adityanath was also shown important sequences containing references to Gorakhnath and the Nath Sect.

Chaturvedi discussed the film's portrayal of Neem Karoli Baba's early spiritual journey and his association with saints from the Nath tradition. The filmmaker has said this relationship forms an important part of the narrative.

Written and directed by Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh explores the life, spirituality and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly known as Maharaj-ji, with particular emphasis on devotion, love and service.

The film has collected an India gross of approximately Rs 169.20 crore after 33 days, putting it within touching distance of Rs 170 crore.

Its theatrical journey is now set to expand internationally, with Hombale Films handling overseas distribution through HombaleOverseas.
