Aaditya Thackeray, leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), criticized the Maharashtra government led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde after sharing footage of police personnel filling potholes on roads in Mumbai and Mira Bhayander.

Thackeray expressed his frustration on social media, questioning why contractors, rather than police, were not addressing the issue. “Instead of the contractor friends of the BJP and the Shinde regime, the police are being made to fill potholes. Have you ever seen a contractor or contracting firm owner on the road filling potholes by the regime?” Thackeray posted on X.

He used the term “mindhe” to imply that the Eknath Shinde faction of Shiv Sena is under BJP influence. Thackeray also tagged the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in another post, commenting, “Shame on NHAI.”

The posts highlight ongoing dissatisfaction with the handling of infrastructure issues in the state and criticism of the current administration’s approach.
