Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya made a dazzling appearance at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024, held on September 15 at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Aishwarya took home the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Critics) for her performance in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2. As she walked up to the stage to receive the honor, Aaradhya was seen capturing the proud moment on her phone.

Earlier in the day, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were warmly welcomed upon their arrival in Dubai. Later, the mother-daughter duo graced the red carpet in glamorous outfits, with Aishwarya taking time to snap selfies with fans who had gathered outside the venue.

Aishwarya’s award was presented by renowned filmmaker Kabir Khan, and her Ponniyin Selvan 2 co-star, Chiyaan Vikram, was seated beside her at the event. In the film, Aishwarya played dual roles—Nandini and Mandakini Devi—bringing the characters from Kalki Krishnamoorthy’s epic Tamil novel to life.

While Aishwarya’s performance continues to earn her accolades, she has yet to announce her next project.
