The tension between Punjabi singers AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh has escalated, with Dhillon claiming during his recent concert that Dosanjh had blocked him on Instagram. In response, Dosanjh denied the claim, saying he had never blocked Dhillon. However, Dhillon countered by sharing a video suggesting that while he had been blocked initially, he was later unblocked after addressing the issue publicly.
At his concert, Dhillon spoke directly to the audience, referencing Dosanjh’s earlier remarks. Speaking in Punjabi, he stated, "First unblock me on Instagram, brother, and then we can talk. I don’t want to comment on any marketing tactics, but unblock me first. I've been working for three years, and I’ve never been involved in controversies until now."
Adding another layer to the situation, rapper and singer Badshah shared a cryptic post on Instagram, seemingly alluding to the feud. He wrote, "Please don’t make the mistakes that we made. The world is ours for the taking. Like they say, ‘If you wanna go fast, go alone, but if you wanna go far, go together.’ United we stand."
Both artists are currently in the middle of their respective tours. Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati India Tour began on October 26 in New Delhi and will conclude on December 29 in Guwahati, with his latest performance in Mumbai on December 19. Meanwhile, Dhillon recently wrapped up The Brownprint Tour, which included stops in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chandigarh, marking his second India tour after his debut in 2021.
As fans continue to speculate about the rift, the artists have yet to offer further clarification, leaving the music world buzzing with intrigue.
