Arbaaz Khan recently shared his sorrow and concern following the assassination of Baba Siddique, a close family friend and former Maharashtra MLA. The tragic incident, linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has deeply affected the Khan family. Despite this loss, Arbaaz continues with the promotions for his upcoming film, Bandaa Singh Chaudhary, which is set to release on October 25.
At a promotional event, Arbaaz expressed the emotional toll the family is facing after Siddique’s death, saying, “There’s a lot happening, but I have to do what I have to do.” While dealing with personal grief, Arbaaz remains dedicated to his professional commitments, promoting the film, which also features Arshad Warsi and Meher Vij.
Reflecting on his bond with Siddique, Arbaaz said, “Baba Siddique was a close family friend and deeply loved by all of us. His death has been incredibly saddening, and it’s a difficult time for us. All we can do now is offer prayers.”
Baba Siddique was shot and killed in Bandra, Mumbai, on October 12, raising serious concerns about safety, especially in light of previous incidents involving the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Earlier in 2024, Salman Khan’s residence was targeted in a shooting, further heightening security fears in Bollywood.
The motives behind Siddique’s assassination are still unclear, with authorities continuing their investigation. A social media post claiming responsibility by the gang has fueled additional speculation about the attack, intensifying safety concerns within the industry.
