24-03-2025Ayesha Kapur, best remembered for portraying young Rani Mukerji in Black, exchanged vows with her longtime partner Adam Oberoi in a close-knit wedding ceremony in Delhi on March 23.
The actress, who stepped away from films and is now an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, shared heartwarming moments from her special day on social media. The pictures captured the couple’s wedding rituals at a gurudwara, with one photo showing them clasping hands while posing for the camera.
For the traditional Sikh wedding, Ayesha wore a soft pink lehenga, while Adam complemented her look in an ivory sherwani with a matching pink turban. Post-ceremony, the newlyweds hosted a celebratory after-party for close friends and family.
Born and raised in Auroville, Tamil Nadu, Ayesha is the daughter of Dilip Kapur, the founder of the luxury brand Hidesign. She gained fame as a child actor in Black, delivering a critically acclaimed performance as a visually impaired girl in a story inspired by Helen Keller. Notably, she was trained for the role by Ranbir Kapoor, who was an assistant director on the film. She later appeared in Sikandar (2009).
Ahead of her wedding, Ayesha celebrated her bachelorette at Kovalam Beach, marking the beginning of this new chapter in her life.
