During his recent concert at Vadodara's Parul University, rapper Badshah publicly expressed his support for comedian Samay Raina, whose online show has been embroiled in controversy. In a viral video circulating on social media, Badshah is seen concluding his performance with a shout-out, exclaiming, "Free Samay Raina!" to the crowd's enthusiastic cheers.

The show in question, titled 'India's Got Latent,' hosted by Raina, recently stirred backlash over offensive remarks made by YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia during an episode. The particular segment featured popular internet personalities such as Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, and Jaspreet Singh. The comments drew severe criticism online, resulting in a First Information Report (FIR) being filed against Ranveer, Samay Raina, and other participants involved in the episode.

In response to the uproar, Raina decided to remove all episodes of 'India's Got Latent' from his YouTube channel. He later issued a statement acknowledging the overwhelming situation, emphasizing that his primary goal was to bring joy to viewers. Raina assured his cooperation with ongoing investigations, hoping for a fair resolution.

Authorities in Mumbai have summoned both Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina to record their statements as part of the legal inquiry. Badshah's vocal backing of Raina at the concert has drawn widespread attention, further fueling discussions on social media about the case and its implications.
