20-02-2025Ben Stiller, Willem Dafoe, Goldie Hawn, Sterling K. Brown, Joe Alwyn, Lily-Rose Depp, Ana de Armas, and Connie Nielsen have been unveiled as presenters for the upcoming 97th Academy Awards.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Oscars' executive producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Additionally, actor and comedian Nick Offerman has been named as the ceremony's announcer. This marks Offerman's debut in the role, succeeding David Alan Grier, who handled the duties last year.
These stars will join the previously revealed lineup of presenters, which includes Halle Berry, Penelope Cruz, Robert Downey Jr., Elle Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg, Scarlett Johansson, Cillian Murphy, and Emma Stone, among others.
Oprah Winfrey, a two-time Oscar nominee for her performances in 'The Color Purple' and her work as a producer on 'Selma,' is also part of this year’s event. Singer and actress Selena Gomez, who appears in the acclaimed film 'Emilia Perez,' one of this year's award contenders, is likewise included. Ben Stiller is gaining attention for his involvement in the second season of 'Severance.'
The 97th Oscars, hosted by Conan O'Brien, is set to take place on March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The event will be broadcast live on ABC. More presenters are expected to be revealed as the event approaches.
