Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of Bollywood icons Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, has started the BPGP MBA program at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. Navya, the daughter of Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda, shared her excitement about this new chapter on Instagram, posting several photos from the prestigious campus where she will spend the next two years.

In her Instagram post, Navya expressed her enthusiasm with the caption, “Dreams do come true !!!!!! Home for the next 2 years... with the best people & faculty! BPGP MBA Class of 2026 (sic).” The photos included her in a black suit next to the IIM sign, images of the campus’s greenery, and snapshots with new friends. She also shared an Instagram story of herself cutting a cake, thanking her teacher Prasad for his support in helping her succeed in the CAT/IAT entrance exams.

Earlier this year, Shweta Bachchan, Navya’s mother, clarified that Navya does not plan to pursue a career in acting, unlike her renowned family members, including her grandparents, uncle Abhishek Bachchan, aunt Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and her brother Agastya Nanda. At an event in June, Shweta stated, “I think you’re well aware of the work Navya does, and she’s already got her hands full. I don’t think Bollywood is the path for her.” Shweta was attending the event on Navya’s behalf to accept an award for her podcast, ‘What The Hell Navya’.
