Comedian Sunil Pal Found Safe After Brief Disappearance

Comedian and actor Sunil Pal, reported missing after traveling for a show, has been located and will return to Mumbai soon.

Comedian and actor Sunil Pal, who was reported missing for several hours after traveling out of Mumbai for a show, has been found safe. His wife, Sarita, filed a missing person complaint on December 3 at the Santacruz police station when she lost contact with him. Pal has since spoken to the police and is expected to return to Mumbai on December 4.

Sarita confirmed the development, saying, “I have spoken to Sunil ji. He has also contacted the police.”

Sunil Pal had traveled outside Mumbai for a scheduled performance and had informed his wife of his intention to return home on December 3. However, after he became unresponsive to repeated calls, his wife sought help from the authorities.

Sunil Pal rose to fame after winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2005. Apart from his successful stand-up career, he has also appeared in Bollywood films, including Hum Tum (2004) and Phir Hera Pheri (2006).

Fans and well-wishers have expressed relief following the news of his safe return.
