Hollywood actor Dakota Johnson, known for her role in Fifty Shades of Grey, was recently spotted visiting Mumbai's iconic Siddhivinayak Temple alongside Indian actors Sonali Bendre and Gayatri Joshi. Johnson is currently in India with her partner, Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
A video shared by paparazzo Varinder Chawla captured the trio dressed in traditional Indian attire. Dakota wore a blue salwar suit paired with a saffron shawl, mirroring the outfits of Bendre and Joshi. The three were seen engaged in a lively conversation as they made their way to the temple.
Johnson and Martin also visited the famous Shri Babulnath Temple earlier, accompanied by Sonali Bendre and Gayatri Joshi. Adhering to the temple's customs, Dakota was seen covering her head and offering prayers. She even whispered her wishes into Nandi’s ears, following the traditional ritual at Lord Shiva's temple.
Chris Martin, frontman of the UK band Coldplay, is in India for the band’s Music of the Spheres World Tour. The sold-out performances are scheduled at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, with two final shows in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26. Fans who can’t attend in person can catch the concerts via live stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin have been dating since Martin's divorce from actress Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he shares two children, Apple (20) and Moses (18). Johnson has previously shared that she enjoys accompanying Chris on his tours when she isn’t busy with her acting commitments.
