After completing two weeks and three weekends in theatres, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has amassed ₹1,622 crore (gross) globally, according to figures shared by Jio Studios.

Of the total worldwide earnings, ₹394 crore has come from international markets as of April 6. In India, the film has generated ₹1,228 crore (gross), with net domestic collections standing at ₹1,041 crore.

Strong start, steady momentum

The film opened to a thunderous response, earning ₹43 crore through paid previews on March 18. Its official release on March 19 brought in ₹102.55 crore on Day 1, followed by ₹80.72 crore on March 20 and ₹113 crore on March 21.

Collections remained robust over the first weekend. On March 22, the film was screened across 21,633 shows nationwide and added ₹114.85 crore. However, like most big-ticket releases, it saw a dip on its first Monday (March 23), collecting ₹65 crore.

During the remainder of its opening week, daily earnings fluctuated between ₹40 crore and ₹60 crore before witnessing another surge over the next weekend.

On Day 18, the film registered ₹28.75 crore (net) from 14,229 shows across India, reinforcing its strong theatrical hold.

Box office comparisons

While Dhurandhar 2 has surpassed the lifetime benchmark of Baahubali 2 in certain metrics, it narrowly missed becoming the fastest film to cross the ₹1,000 crore (net) milestone across languages — a record still held by Pushpa 2. The Ranveer Singh-starrer fell short by two days in that particular race.

With momentum still intact, the action drama remains one of the highest-grossing Indian films in recent times.
