Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde has spoken out for the first time regarding the ongoing uproar over comedian Kunal Kamra's remarks about him. Addressing the controversy, Shinde stated that while he acknowledges the importance of satire and freedom of expression, there should be certain boundaries.

Kunal Kamra, known for his sharp political humor, found himself at the center of a heated debate after making a joke that indirectly targeted Shinde. The comedian reworked lyrics from a popular Bollywood song in a way that many perceived as a direct jab at the Deputy Chief Minister, leading to strong reactions from Shiv Sena members.

Shinde, responding to the issue, was quoted by PTI as saying, "Freedom of speech exists, and we understand satire, but there must be limits." His comments come amidst ongoing discussions about the boundaries of political humor and its consequences.
