A low-intensity explosion was reported early Tuesday morning at a bar owned by singer and rapper Badshah in Chandigarh’s upscale Sector 26. The incident occurred between 2:30 and 2:45 am when two suspects on a motorcycle allegedly hurled an explosive device at the private club.

While no injuries were reported, the blast caused damage to several window panes. Following the incident, Chandigarh Police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators. Teams from the bomb detection squad and the Central Forensic Science Laboratory were also dispatched to collect forensic evidence and analyze the nature of the device.

Preliminary reports suggest the explosive could have been a crude, homemade bomb, potentially linked to extortion attempts. Authorities are examining all possibilities and reviewing CCTV footage from the area to track down the suspects.

This is a developing situation, and further updates are awaited as the investigation continues.
