Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reportedly received a new death threat from an unidentified person demanding a payment of Rs 2 crore. A message sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police warned that if the money is not paid, the actor’s life will be in danger. Following this, police in Mumbai’s Worli district registered a case against the unknown sender and launched an investigation.

On Tuesday, the Mumbai Police made an arrest in Noida, apprehending a 20-year-old man identified as Mohammad Tayyab, also known as Gurfan Khan, in connection with the threat call case involving Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique, an MLA from Ajit Pawar’s NCP faction and son of the late Baba Siddique. The arrest took place in Noida's Sector 39 area.

Baba Siddique was fatally attacked outside his office in Mumbai's Bandra neighborhood during Dussehra festivities on October 12. The day after the incident, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the former state minister’s murder, allegedly due to his association with Salman Khan.

So far, police have detained a total of 15 individuals in relation to Baba Siddique's murder.
