On October 15, 2024, Victoria’s Secret made its highly anticipated comeback with a spectacular fashion show after a five-year break. The event, held at Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City, featured iconic Victoria’s Secret Angels such as Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio, and more.
The show opened with American supermodel Gigi Hadid, who dazzled in pink lingerie paired with oversized feathers and matching heels. In a nod to her friend Taylor Swift, she channeled the pop star’s energy on the runway, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience. Gigi later returned in a stunning red lace bodysuit.
Bella Hadid made a surprise appearance towards the end, wearing a bold red bra set with matching wings. The show also featured the return of veteran Angels like Adriana Lima, who first walked for Victoria's Secret in 1999, and Candice Swanepoel.
The revamped show embraced diversity, with models representing different body shapes, sizes, gender identities, and abilities. Plus-size model Ashley Graham made her debut, walking in a striking black lace bodysuit and robe. She expressed her excitement about representing more inclusive beauty standards on the runway.
The mother-daughter duo Kate Moss and Lila Moss also made their debut, with Lila donning a pink outfit while Kate, 50, rocked the runway in a black ensemble to roaring cheers. Tyra Banks closed the show in a stunning finale, following a performance by Cher.
Victoria’s Secret had previously cancelled its televised runway shows in 2019 after facing criticism over its body image standards, but this year's show marked a new chapter for the brand, celebrating inclusivity and diversity in fashion.
