Renowned singer and rapper Honey Singh brought his Millionaire India Tour to Delhi on Saturday, captivating the crowd with his chart-topping hits. The tour, exclusively curated by Stage Aaj Tak, saw an electrifying performance where Singh made a bold declaration—while legendary composer AR Rahman put India on the global stage by winning an Oscar, he aims to bring home a Grammy.

Addressing his fans, Singh said, "Three decades ago, AR Rahman achieved what even 50 of us together might not accomplish in a century. He took Indian music to an international level and won an Oscar for the country. But I will be the one to bring a Grammy to India."

AR Rahman, a musical icon, created history in 2008 by winning two Academy Awards for his work in Slumdog Millionaire, securing Best Original Score and Best Original Song for Jai Ho. His international accolades also include two Grammy Awards in 2010, along with multiple BAFTA, Golden Globe, Critics' Choice, and Asian Film Awards.

A Nostalgic Connection with Delhi

During the concert, Honey Singh expressed gratitude to his fans, attributing his comeback to their unwavering support. "I am back because of you and for you," he declared. "You listened to me as kids, you enjoyed my music in your youth, and you will continue to listen when you have kids, when your kids grow up, and even when your grandchildren are here."

Singh also shared his deep love for Delhi, his birthplace, emphasizing its historic and emotional significance. "Many emperors, rulers, and kings tried to conquer Delhi, but they all failed. Delhi is not won by the sword; it is won by love. The people of Delhi have hearts so big that they give without hesitation," he said, drawing loud cheers from the audience.

A Night to Remember

Held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, the concert was a spectacle, with Honey Singh delivering back-to-back performances of his biggest hits, including Blue Eyes, Brown Rang, Love Dose, and more. The night was a celebration of music, nostalgia, and the rapper’s unwavering ambition to take Indian music to even greater heights.
