India secured a commanding win over Bangladesh in the second Test in Kanpur on Tuesday, consolidating their lead in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 points table. Despite the first three days being affected by rain and wet outfield, Rohit Sharma's team bowled out Bangladesh twice and showcased an aggressive batting display to claim a seven-wicket victory. This win helped India maintain their top position with a PCT of 74.24, followed by Australia at 62.50 and Sri Lanka at 55.56.

In contrast, Pakistan sits at ninth in the standings with a PCT of 19.05, while West Indies remain at the bottom with 18.52.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a solid half-century as India chased down a target of 95 in just 17.2 overs, finishing with 51 runs, while Virat Kohli contributed an unbeaten 29. India's bowlers dominated the match, with Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Jasprit Bumrah each taking three wickets in Bangladesh's second innings, restricting them to 146 runs.

Bangladesh's second innings was limited to just 120 additional runs after resuming from their overnight score of 26/2. Shadman Islam top-scored for Bangladesh with 50 runs, but it wasn't enough to save the team from defeat.

India declared their first innings at 285/9 after bowling Bangladesh out for 233 earlier in the match. Despite the delays, India managed to complete a clean sweep of the two-Test series.
