Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Indian Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge have both conveyed their birthday wishes to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who celebrates his 74th birthday today.

In her message on X, Meloni expressed her optimism for the future of Italy-India relations, stating, "Happy birthday to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I am confident that our friendship and collaboration between Italy and India will continue to strengthen as we face global challenges together."

Kharge also took to X to extend his wishes, writing, “Best wishes to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and a long life.”

Narendra Modi, born on September 17, 1950, in Mehsana, Gujarat, has ascended from modest beginnings to become a prominent figure in Indian politics. He served as Gujarat's Chief Minister from 2001 to 2014, a period marked by notable economic and administrative reforms. Modi has been serving as the Prime Minister of India since 2014 and is currently in his third term.
