Despite recent media reports falsely claiming the death of Jaya Bachchan's mother, Indira Bhaduri, the 94-year-old is alive and doing well. These reports also suggested that her grandson, actor Abhishek Bachchan, had rushed to Bhopal upon hearing the news, but those claims have since been debunked.

Indira Bhaduri, currently undergoing treatment for a backbone issue, is in stable condition, according to her caretaker.
