Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to launch her restaurant, The Mountain Story, in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, on February 14. Ahead of the grand opening, she invited fellow actress Deepika Padukone to be her first guest.
Kangana shared a throwback video from an old interview where she spoke about her dream of owning a restaurant. When asked about her aspirations for the next decade, she had expressed her desire to open a café with a global menu, drawing inspiration from her travels. “I've eaten all over the world, and I carry amazing recipes. I'd love to have a small but beautiful cafeteria,” she had said.
Interestingly, Deepika, who was also present in the interview, had responded with enthusiasm, saying, “I'll be your first client.” Resharing the clip, Kangana playfully wrote, “If walking the talk had a face, ha ha, it would be me... also, @deepikapadukone, you should be my first client.”
Giving fans a sneak peek into her restaurant, Kangana recently posted a video showcasing the interiors, adorned with local Himachali artefacts, and promised an authentic dining experience with traditional cuisine. She captioned her post, “A childhood dream comes alive—my little café in the lap of the Himalayas. The Mountain Story, it’s a love story. #TheMountainStory Opening 14th February.”
She also shared picturesque images of the café on Instagram, adding poetic captions like, “The mountains are my bones, the rivers my veins, the forests are my thoughts, and the stars are my dreams,” and “The mountain is calling, and I must answer.”
On the professional front, Kangana was last seen in Emergency, a film she also directed, marking her directorial debut.
