Bollywood actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are set to become parents for the second time. The couple announced the news on social media on Wednesday, October 7, sharing an emotional post celebrating the next chapter in their family life.

Kiara and Sidharth shared a joint picture featuring their daughter Saraayah's tiny hand alongside a pair of baby booties. Their announcement carried a simple message of gratitude and excitement: “Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude.”

The couple's post was quickly met with congratulatory messages from their friends and colleagues in the film industry. Filmmaker Karan Johar, who has shared a close professional association with Sidharth, reacted to the announcement with, “Love love you,” accompanied by red heart emojis.

Actors Athiya Shetty and Bhumi Pednekar, along with fashion designer Manish Malhotra, were also among those who sent their best wishes to the couple.

A growing family

Kiara and Sidharth tied the knot on February 7, 2023, in an intimate ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The wedding was attended by their families and a select group of close friends.

The actors entered parenthood in July 2025 with the birth of their daughter, Saraayah. They had announced their first pregnancy in February 2025 through a photograph featuring their hands holding tiny baby socks.

For their second pregnancy announcement, the couple have once again used baby footwear as a symbolic element, this time including their daughter's hand in the frame. The understated post is in keeping with their decision to keep much of their family life away from the public eye.

Kiara and Sidharth have generally avoided sharing extensive details about Saraayah, choosing instead to give fans only occasional glimpses of their daughter.

Both actors remain busy professionally

The new addition to their family comes as both actors continue to pursue their careers in Hindi cinema.

Kiara has appeared in films such as Kabir Singh, Shershaah, Jugjugg Jeeyo and Satyaprem Ki Katha. She was also seen in Toxic, alongside Yash, Nayanthara and Rukmini Vasanth.

Sidharth, meanwhile, has built his filmography with projects including Student of the Year, Ek Villain, Kapoor & Sons and Yodha. His recent release was The Vvaan.

With their second child on the way, Kiara and Sidharth are now preparing for another major milestone in their personal lives while continuing to balance their family commitments with their professional schedules.
