The Maharashtra Police have registered a case against YouTubers Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, Apoorva Mukhija, and several others following their remarks on the comedy show India’s Got Latent. The case was filed after the cyber branch conducted a review of all episodes of the show.

This marks the second legal action over the controversy, as the Assam Police had previously lodged a case against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and other influencers for allegedly promoting obscenity and engaging in explicit discussions.

The Maharashtra Police have named 30 individuals in the case, including Rakhi Sawant and Balraj Ghai. Summons have been issued to some of the accused, while others are expected to be called in for questioning.

The case has been registered under Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, which pertains to the transmission of obscene material through electronic media, along with other relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
