24-09-2024Manoj Bajpayee, the acclaimed actor known for his role in "The Family Man," was recently honored by the Nagaland government while shooting for the third season of the series in Kohima. On September 23, Nagaland's Minister for Tourism and Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along, shared a photograph of their meeting on social media, captioning it with a playful reference to Bajpayee's character and asking about tips from his co-star, Chellam Sir.
In response, Bajpayee expressed his gratitude on X, stating, “It’s been such a fantastic stay in Kohima! The entire TFM team is getting so much love from all of you; it is something we will cherish forever!”
Alongside Bajpayee, other cast members, including Sharib Hashmi and Gul Panag, participated in a special meeting with Minister Temjen Imna to discuss tourism in Nagaland. Minister Along also tweeted a lighthearted video featuring the team, emphasizing their connection to the region.
Reflecting on his experiences in Nagaland, Bajpayee remarked to ANI, "This is the part of the country that I ever got an opportunity to visit. We have been shooting here for so many days now. The food, the culture—each day has been enriching."
In "The Family Man," Bajpayee plays Srikant Tiwari, a seemingly ordinary middle-class man who works undercover as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional entity within India's National Investigation Agency. The production for the highly anticipated third season of the Prime Video series is currently underway in Nagaland, featuring a talented cast that includes Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and others.
