13-11-2024Actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty faced an unexpected incident on Tuesday while campaigning in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, when his wallet was stolen amidst a large crowd at an election rally.
Chakraborty, a prominent campaigner for the BJP, was in Dhanbad’s Kaliasole to support BJP candidate Aparna Sengupta in the upcoming assembly elections. The rally attracted a massive crowd eager to see the popular actor, and video footage from the event shows inadequate security, with people climbing onto the stage to take pictures with him.
During this commotion, Chakraborty’s wallet went missing. Organizers appealed over the loudspeaker, requesting anyone who may have taken it to return it, also urging the crowd to step back from the stage. Despite these efforts, the wallet was not recovered, and Chakraborty eventually left the rally earlier than planned.
