Nasa plans to provide advanced training to Indian astronauts, aiming for a joint mission to the International Space Station, announced US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti during the "US-India Commercial Space Conference" in Bangalore.

The event, co-hosted by the USIBC and USCS, witnessed participation from key officials from both countries, including representatives from Isro and Nasa, emphasizing the strengthening collaboration between the two nations in space exploration and innovation.

Isro Chairman Dr. S. Somnath highlighted the significance of the collaboration, envisioning the moon as a sustainable platform for joint endeavors.

USIBC president Atul Keshap expressed optimism about the burgeoning US-India space partnership, envisioning remarkable milestones and economic growth through strategic alliances and collaborative efforts in space exploration.
