An old video of actor Mrunal Thakur making remarks about Bipasha Basu has resurfaced online, drawing attention for its controversial content. In the clip, believed to be from her early television career, the 33-year-old is heard making comments about Basu’s appearance, calling her “manly” and questioning why someone would want to marry a woman “with muscles.”

In the exchange, Mrunal is seen debating with a man who mentions his admiration for Basu. She responds, “Go marry Bipasha,” before adding, “Listen, I am far better than Bipasha, okay.”

Currently, Thakur is recognised for her work across Hindi, Telugu, and Marathi cinema. She was most recently seen with Ajay Devgn in Son of Sardaar 2 and gained significant acclaim for her role in the Telugu blockbuster Sita Ramam alongside Dulquer Salmaan.
