Parineeti Chopra continues to shine both on screen and off. Known for her versatile performances and evolving fitness journey, the actress has once again proven that discipline and determination can lead to remarkable transformations.
For her recent film Amar Singh Chamkila, where she starred opposite Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti took on the challenge of gaining 15 kilos to portray Amarjot Kaur authentically. While audiences appreciated her compelling performance, it was her post-film transformation that truly turned heads.
In a video shared on social media, Parineeti gave fans a glimpse into her rigorous gym sessions. Alongside the clip, she reflected on her physical journey during and after the shoot. “I spent six months last year singing in Rahman sir’s studio, and going home to eat every bit of junk food I could to gain 15 kilos for Chamkila,” she wrote. Now, with filming complete, her focus has shifted to fitness: “I miss the studio, and spend my time in the gym trying to look like myself again… not like Amarjot ji!”
This isn't the first time Parineeti has undergone a dramatic body transformation. A few years ago, she lost 28 kilos through clean eating and consistent workouts, inspiring many with her dedication.
One standout part of her earlier routine was Kalaripayattu — a traditional martial art from Kerala. This ancient discipline involves dynamic movements like leaps, stretches, and combat training, enhancing strength, flexibility, and mental focus. Parineeti took up this unique form of exercise as part of her overall fitness plan, making her workouts not just effective but culturally enriching.
Her story is a reminder that fitness isn’t just about aesthetics — it’s about commitment, personal growth, and resilience. With every transformation, Parineeti continues to motivate fans to embrace their journeys and strive for healthier lifestyles.
