Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Paris for a two-day visit to France, where he will co-chair the third edition of the AI Action Summit alongside French President Emmanuel Macron. The summit aims to establish a global governance model for Artificial Intelligence (AI), promoting inclusivity while ensuring safety and transparency in AI technology.
The visit comes as AI innovation gains momentum worldwide, with Chinese startup DeepSeek recently unveiling an advanced AI model positioned as a cost-effective alternative to OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
During his stay, PM Modi will also address the India-France CEO's Forum, engaging with top business leaders to bolster economic cooperation between the two nations. Additionally, he is set to visit the Mazargues War Cemetery in Marseille, where he will pay tribute to Indian soldiers who fought in the First World War.
