Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to voters for reaffirming their trust in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government during his first Mann Ki Baat radio broadcast since being re-elected for a third term.

In today’s episode, PM Modi acknowledged the nation’s resolute faith in the Constitution and the democratic process following the historic Lok Sabha elections of 2024, which he described as the largest democratic exercise globally with 650 million voters participating.

Reflecting on the hiatus in Mann Ki Baat broadcasts due to electoral protocols, PM Modi underscored the program's enduring spirit across the country, emphasizing the ongoing impact of positive societal contributions and community initiatives.

Looking ahead, PM Modi encouraged support for Indian athletes gearing up for the Paris Olympics, urging citizens to rally behind them using the 'cheer4Bharat' hashtag. He reminisced about India's achievements at the Tokyo Olympics and expressed confidence in the upcoming performance in Paris.

Additionally, PM Modi touched upon International Yoga Day celebrations, highlighted India's success in global cinema, and praised national achievements in afforestation efforts.

Launched in 2014, Mann Ki Baat serves as a platform for PM Modi to connect directly with citizens, discussing government initiatives, national issues, and delivering inspirational messages. Broadcast in 22 Indian languages, 29 dialects, and 11 foreign languages, the program reaches a diverse audience through over 500 All India Radio centres worldwide.
