Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the United States from September 21-23 for significant diplomatic engagements. During his trip, Modi will participate in the fourth Quad Leaders’ Summit and deliver an address at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

According to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs, PM Modi will join the Quad Summit in Wilmington, Delaware, hosted by US President Joe Biden. The Quad, which includes India, the US, Japan, and Australia, will review the group's achievements over the past year and outline plans for supporting the Indo-Pacific region’s development.

Following the Quad Summit, the next summit will be hosted by India.

On September 23, PM Modi will speak at the ‘Summit of the Future’ during the UNGA session, which will see participation from numerous global leaders.

While in New York, Modi is set to engage with the Indian community on September 22 and meet with CEOs from leading US companies to strengthen collaboration in areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. Additionally, he will hold bilateral meetings with various world leaders to discuss mutual interests.

This visit aims to bolster India-US ties and promote cooperation in key technological and economic sectors.
