Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna as they gear up to tie the knot on February 26, 2026. The wedding festivities are being hosted at ITC Mementos Udaipur, where close relatives and selected guests are expected to gather for the intimate celebration.

In a message addressed to Vijay’s parents, Madhavi and Goverdhan Rao, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the invitation and extended his good wishes to both the Deverakonda and Mandanna families. He described the occasion as a joyful and meaningful milestone that marks the start of a lifelong journey for the couple.

Pre-wedding celebrations commenced with a lively sangeet ceremony on February 24, followed by haldi and mehndi rituals on February 25. Reports suggest that the wedding will feature two distinct ceremonies to respectfully honour the traditions of both families.
