Priyanka Chopra blended family festivities with patriotic pride in New York, celebrating a string of personal milestones while also sending love to India on Independence Day. The actress took to Instagram to share glimpses of the eventful day with her followers.

The evening turned into a multi-occasion gathering. Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas joined the Jonas family to mark the 40th wedding anniversary of Nick’s parents, Denise Miller-Jonas and Kevin Jonas Sr. The celebrations also included Joe Jonas’ 36th birthday and the 43rd wedding anniversary of Priyanka’s uncle and aunt.

For the occasion, Priyanka looked radiant in a green ensemble, posing alongside Nick, who was dressed in a tuxedo. Sharing pictures online, she wrote a heartfelt note to her in-laws: “What a special day for so many reasons. @papakjonas @mamadjonas you are such a beautiful example of love, respect and true partnership. Wishing you a happy 40th anniversary — we love you deeply.”

In another message, she expressed affection for her uncle and aunt: “@vimlaakhouri and Vimal (mamu), thank you for the love you give to everyone around you and for always standing by me. Wishing you both a wonderful 43rd anniversary.” She also extended birthday wishes to Joe Jonas before signing off with, “Happy Independence Day, my beloved India. Forever grateful.”

On the work front, Priyanka has a packed schedule. She will return in the second season of the global series Citadel and headline The Bluff, where she plays a pirate set in the 19th-century Caribbean. In addition, she is set to make a big comeback to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s much-anticipated Telugu film, tentatively titled SSMB29.
