Actor Radhika Apte surprised fans by showcasing her baby bump for the first time during the ongoing BFI London Film Festival 2024. The pregnancy announcement came subtly as she attended the UK premiere of her upcoming film, Sister Midnight, on October 17. For the event, Apte wore an elegant off-shoulder black bodycon dress.

Shortly after sharing photos from the premiere, fans took to social media to express their excitement. One Instagram user exclaimed, "Omg!!! She's pregnant, how exciting!" Another congratulated her, saying, "Ah! Congrats on the premiere and your pregnancy! You look magnificent on the red carpet."

American actor and writer Sarah Megan Thomas also congratulated Apte, commenting, "Omg Radhika, congrats! You look stunning!" Producer Guneet Monga shared her good wishes as well.

Radhika Apte has been married to British violinist and composer Benedict Taylor since 2012, after a private wedding in Northern England. The couple chose not to announce their pregnancy on social media, following a trend among other celebrities.

In an exclusive interview with India Today Digital, Apte reminisced about her wedding, saying, "When I got married to Benedict 10 years ago, we forgot to click pictures. We had a DIY wedding, inviting friends and preparing the food ourselves. We celebrated at a venue in Northern England, but no one took any pictures, even though many of our friends were photographers."

Over the years, Radhika Apte has kept her personal life largely private. On the professional front, she is looking forward to the release of two English films, Sister Midnight and Last Days.
