Ratan Naval Tata, the former chairman of Tata Group, passed away on the night of Wednesday, October 9, at the age of 86. He had been undergoing treatment for a prolonged illness at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. His death marks the end of an era, leaving a significant void in the world of business.

Many prominent figures, including celebrities and political leaders, paid tribute to the legendary industrialist. Jr NTR referred to him as a "titan of the industry and a heart of gold," while Salman Khan expressed deep sorrow over his passing. Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram to share her respects, and megastar Chiranjeevi called it a "sad day for all Indians."

Director SS Rajamouli shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram stories, thanking Ratan Tata for his immense contributions to India, while Ranveer Singh honored the icon with a black-and-white photo accompanied by an infinity symbol. Filmmaker Rajamouli also described Tata as a "legend who will live forever."

Preity Zinta mourned his passing on social media, calling it the "end of an era." Anupam Kher paid his respects on X (formerly Twitter), recalling a memorable meeting with Tata in London where the industrialist praised his comic timing.

Other notable personalities such as superstar Nagarjuna Akkieni also paid tribute, saying, "India will miss you, Shri Ratan Tata ji—your humility, compassion, and leadership will be remembered." Actresses Anushka Sharma and Sushmita Sen also expressed their sorrow over the loss.

The business community, political leaders, and people from various walks of life offered condolences, recognizing the profound impact Ratan Tata had on India and the world. His legacy of leadership, innovation, and philanthropy will continue to inspire generations to come.
