Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali Tendulkar hosted an elegant pre-wedding celebration for their son Arjun Tendulkar in Mumbai on March 3, ahead of his marriage to businesswoman Saaniya Chandhok scheduled for March 5.

The couple made a striking appearance at the event in traditional outfits. Saaniya dazzled in an intricately embroidered lehenga featuring delicate pink tones and detailed gota-patti work. Her bridal look was completed with statement jewellery, soft glowing makeup and elegant kaleeras. Arjun matched the festive mood in a sophisticated beige bandhgala ensemble.

Family members also embraced festive fashion for the evening. Arjun’s sister Sara Tendulkar wore a vibrant mirror-work lehenga designed by Arpita Mehta, while Anjali opted for a richly embellished navy-blue sharara set.

Sachin Tendulkar himself chose a classic emerald green kurta paired with a brocade jacket, adding to the regal atmosphere of the celebration.

The event attracted several well-known personalities from the worlds of cricket and politics. Among those present were Harbhajan Singh with Geeta Basra, Zaheer Khan with Sagarika Ghatge, as well as political leader Raj Thackeray.

Arjun and Saaniya had announced their engagement on August 25 last year. Earlier in February, industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani hosted a special pre-wedding gathering for the couple at their residence in Jamnagar.

During that celebration, Nita Ambani delivered an emotional speech reflecting on Arjun’s childhood and warmly welcoming Saaniya into the extended family circle.

With the wedding ceremony set for March 5, the upcoming event is expected to bring together numerous celebrities, athletes and prominent personalities for what promises to be a glamorous celebration.
