A new CCTV image of the man who attacked Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has emerged, shedding fresh light on the incident that occurred at the actor's Bandra residence in Mumbai two days ago.

In this latest image, taken from surveillance footage, the suspect is seen wearing a yellow t-shirt, different from his previous appearances. Earlier visuals showed him wearing a black t-shirt on the night of the attack, and a blue shirt in images released the following day.

Police Investigation Intensifies

The Mumbai Police believe the suspect may have used a local train from Bandra to move within the city or flee to another location. Multiple police teams are analyzing CCTV footage from railway stations across Mumbai to track his movements.

According to the FIR, the attacker broke into Saif Ali Khan's home and entered the bedroom of his younger son, Jeh. When a house help raised an alarm, Saif confronted the intruder and sustained six stab wounds, including one to the thoracic spine. The 54-year-old actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where doctors performed surgery to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid. Saif is now reported to be out of danger.

In addition to Saif, two house helps also suffered injuries after being attacked with a hexa blade by the intruder.

Efforts to Nab the Suspect

The Mumbai Police have identified the attacker and formed 35 teams to locate and apprehend him. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured the public that significant leads have been uncovered and that the suspect will be arrested soon.

What We Know So Far

  • Police recorded statements from Saif's wife, Kareena Kapoor, and their house help, Eliyama Philip, who first noticed the intruder.
  • Philip described the suspect as being around 35-40 years old, with a dark complexion, slim build, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, and wearing dark pants, a shirt, and a cap.
  • A carpenter resembling the suspect was questioned but later released.
  • The police have yet to make any arrests, but several individuals have been questioned as part of the investigation.

This high-profile case has put Mumbai Police under immense pressure to swiftly resolve the matter, with extensive efforts underway to locate the attacker and ensure justice.
