Actor Salman Khan expressed sharp displeasure after being followed by photographers outside a hospital in Mumbai. Videos circulating online show the star stepping out of the facility while several paparazzi members called out to him. Clearly irritated, he gestured in frustration and appeared to question their conduct before leaving the premises.
Soon after, Salman took to Instagram to voice his concerns. In multiple posts, he stated that he has always maintained a cordial relationship with the media and supported their work. However, he said there must be limits, particularly in sensitive spaces like hospitals.
The actor suggested that turning up at a medical facility and capturing images during a personal moment crossed a line. He emphasised that while he understands the media’s need to earn a livelihood, moments linked to health or distress should not be treated as photo opportunities.
In a candid tone, Salman also remarked that such behaviour would feel inappropriate if the roles were reversed. He warned against intruding into private situations and made it clear that he would not tolerate repeated boundary violations.
One of his posts also reflected his trademark defiant streak, as he reminded followers that despite his age, he hasn’t lost his fighting spirit.
Earlier Social Media Buzz
The hospital episode followed a recent post by the actor that had sparked widespread discussion online. He had shared a photograph of himself reclining in a dimly lit room, accompanied by a caption reflecting on the difference between being alone and feeling lonely.
The post led to speculation among fans about whether he was hinting at something personal. Actor Sneha Ullal, who starred opposite him in the 2005 film Lucky: No Time for Love, reacted playfully in the comments, referencing his character from the movie.
Amid growing chatter, Salman later clarified that his message was not about his own emotional state. He said he considers himself fortunate to have a strong family support system and loyal fans. He added that occasionally choosing solitude for personal time should not be mistaken for loneliness, urging people not to sensationalise every post.
On the Work Front
Salman recently made a cameo appearance as Jiva Mahala in the historical drama Raja Shivaji. He is next set to appear in the upcoming film Maatrubhumi.
The latest episode has once again reignited debate around celebrity privacy and the boundaries between public life and personal space.
