Shah Rukh Khan has traveled to Switzerland to attend the prestigious Locarno Film Festival, where he will receive the Pardo alla Carriera Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Indian cinema. Khan was spotted at Mumbai airport before his departure.

The 77th edition of the Locarno Film Festival, one of the world’s longest-running film festivals, will celebrate Khan's career with this special award. Festival artistic director Giona A. The Locarno Film Festival, founded in 1946, is known for its focus on auteur cinema. This year’s event will showcase 225 films, including 104 world premieres and 15 debut features.
