Actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband, Raj Kundra, visited Lilavati Hospital to pay their respects to the family of NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was tragically shot dead in Mumbai's Bandra area on Saturday, October 12. The 66-year-old politician was attacked outside the office of his son, MLA Zeeshan Siddique.

Emotional footage emerged online showing Shilpa visibly shaken and in tears as she arrived at the hospital. In one clip, she is seen breaking down in her car before stepping out alongside her husband, struggling to contain her emotions as they made their way into the facility.

The couple's visit coincided with the arrest of two suspects in the case, while a third assailant remains at large. Notably, Salman Khan, a close friend of Baba Siddique, canceled the shooting of Bigg Boss 18 to pay tribute at the hospital.

The attack occurred while Baba Siddique was celebrating Dussehra by bursting firecrackers outside his son’s office. As he was doing so, three masked assailants emerged from a vehicle and opened fire with a 9.9 mm pistol, hitting him in the chest and causing him to collapse.

In the aftermath of the incident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde vowed to take strict action against those responsible for the attack on the NCP leader.
