The much-awaited Telugu film Pushpa 2: The Rule is generating buzz, with speculation that actor Shraddha Kapoor might appear in a special dance number alongside Allu Arjun. Following the massive success of the first film Pushpa, released in 2022, which featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s memorable performance in the song "Oo Antava," the sequel is set to deliver an equally thrilling dance sequence that will appeal to audiences across different regions.

Earlier, actors like Triptii Dimri were reportedly in talks for the dance number. However, as per a report by Gulte, Shraddha Kapoor has now emerged as the frontrunner for the role. Though no official confirmation has been made, her addition could enhance the film's appeal across both the Hindi and Telugu-speaking markets, similar to the inclusion of Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil in the first movie.

As the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule approaches on December 6, promotional activities are gaining momentum. The first two singles, "Pushpa Pushpa" and "Sooseki," have already gained immense popularity online.

Allu Arjun is currently shooting key scenes for the sequel, reprising his role as Pushparaj. He will be joined by Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, who are returning from the original film, under the direction of Sukumar. The ensemble cast also includes notable actors like Dhananjaya, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, and Ajay Ghosh.
