Sunny Leone's DJ Night in Hyderabad Cancelled After Police Deny Permission
Sunny Leone’s scheduled performance at Illuzion Pub in Hyderabad was cancelled last minute after police cited procedural lapses by the organisers
02-12-2024Actor Sunny Leone’s scheduled DJ Night performance at Illuzion Pub in Hyderabad on November 30 was abruptly cancelled after the police denied permission for the event, citing procedural issues with the organisers. The live event was supposed to take place from 11 pm to 12:30 am, and the organisers had already sold nearly 500 tickets through BookMyShow.
Despite not receiving official approval, the organisers proceeded with the event, which led to intervention by the Jubilee Hills police. Approximately 100 officers were stationed at the venue from 8 pm to 1 am, leading to the eventual cancellation of the performance.
As attendees began to arrive, they were informed via a TV message that the event was cancelled due to Sunny Leone’s health issues, though the pub would still host a Bollywood Night.
Frustrated by the cancellation, the crowd began to disperse, and the police presence at the venue diminished by 1 am.
