Tina Ahuja, daughter of Bollywood veteran Govinda, has broken her silence on the ongoing buzz about her parents’ alleged split. Addressing the chatter, Tina firmly denied the claims, calling them nothing more than unfounded gossip.

The speculation gathered pace after Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, uploaded an emotional vlog on her YouTube channel. Many interpreted the post as a subtle response to rumours of marital discord. Soon after, unverified reports surfaced online suggesting Sunita had filed for divorce at a Mumbai family court.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Tina set the record straight: “It’s all rumours. I don’t let such things bother me. I don’t pay attention to them.” When asked about how her parents are dealing with the situation, she added briefly, “Kya bolun mai (What should I say)? He is not even in the country.”

Tina also expressed her gratitude for the love and concern pouring in from fans and well-wishers. “I feel blessed to have such a beautiful family. I’m thankful for all the support from the media, fans, and everyone who cares,” she said.

Earlier, reports had claimed that Sunita had officially moved a divorce petition on December 5, 2024, citing reasons such as cruelty, desertion, and adultery. However, no confirmation has come from either Govinda or Sunita themselves.
