Renowned Marathi actor Atul Parchure has passed away at the age of 57. The actor, who had a notable presence in both Marathi and Bollywood films, died on October 14 after his health worsened while performing in the stage production Suryachi Pille.

Parchure had been battling cancer for several years, and sources suggest that he experienced a relapse of the illness.

Family sources confirmed his passing earlier today. He is survived by his mother, wife, and daughter, who have requested privacy during this challenging time.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his condolences over the actor's death.

Throughout his prolific career, Parchure appeared in popular shows such as The Kapil Sharma Show and shared the screen with major actors like Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt in the film All the Best. His talent for comedy and versatility in portraying a range of characters earned him widespread acclaim in both the Bollywood and Marathi film industries.
