Virat Kohli Shares Kids’ Photos with Preity Zinta After RCB Defeat PBKS in IPL 2025
After RCB’s win over PBKS, a sweet moment between Virat Kohli and Preity Zinta—where he showed her photos of his children—has gone viral among fans
22-04-2025Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured a commanding seven-wicket win against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Sunday, April 20, during the IPL 2025 Rivalry Week. Amid the electrifying atmosphere, a heartwarming clip of Virat Kohli interacting with PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta has captured fans' attention online.
The brief but touching exchange took place at Mullanpur Stadium in Chandigarh, where Preity Zinta greeted Kohli on the field following the match. In the viral video, Virat is seen showing Zinta pictures of his children, Vamika and Akaay, on his phone. The Bollywood star responded with a wide smile, clearly delighted by the glimpse into Kohli’s family life.
Despite their celebrity status, Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have chosen to maintain a high level of privacy around their children, rarely sharing their photos publicly.
Just before the game, Preity had shared an update about her health on social media platform X, revealing that she was unwell due to high fever—something she attributed to exhausting travel schedules, temperature changes, and constant hotel switches.
She wrote, “I think it’s the hectic travel, extreme heat, AC exposure, and shifting between hotel rooms that led to this fever. It’s awful being unwell and sleepless. Thankfully, my mom is flying in to see me and catch the match tomorrow. I really hope I feel well enough to make it to the Mullanpur stadium—it’s our final home game in Chandigarh before we shift to Dharamshala. Signing off now. Gonna pretend this is just cricket fever and try to sleep. And ignore the fake news floating around online.”
The two teams had last clashed on April 18 in Bengaluru, where PBKS clinched a win in a rain-shortened 14-over game. However, RCB bounced back in Mullanpur to settle the score in the return fixture.
