CCTV footage from the area captured the moment the dog fell from the building and struck the girl, who was on a narrow street below. Her mother immediately took her to a hospital, but the child was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The dog, which also sustained injuries from the fall, has been taken to a veterinary hospital for treatment.
The Mumbra police have launched an investigation to determine whether the fall was accidental or if the dog was intentionally thrown. Further inquiries are ongoing to clarify the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
