The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has unveiled its new campaign, "Kejriwal Aayenge," as it prepares for next year’s Delhi assembly elections. This initiative comes while Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal remains incarcerated in Tihar Jail over a corruption case related to the alleged excise policy scam, currently under investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The campaign features prominent hoardings across Delhi with the message "Kejriwal Aayenge" and a new slogan, "Sisodia aa gaye hain, Kejriwal aayenge," reflecting the party’s optimism for Kejriwal’s release. Kejriwal’s former deputy, Manish Sisodia, who was recently granted bail after 17 months in custody, has fueled the party’s hopes that Kejriwal will also soon be granted bail.

In addition to the Delhi campaign, AAP is also preparing for the upcoming Haryana assembly elections in October. Delhi Minister Atishi expressed confidence in the party’s ability to contest all seats in Haryana and secure a victory.

Kejriwal's judicial custody has been extended until August 27, following his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21, 2024, in connection with a money laundering investigation tied to alleged irregularities in the Delhi excise policy 2021-22. The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the CBI regarding Kejriwal’s bail pleas and his challenge against the Delhi High Court’s decision to uphold his arrest.
