Sources have reported that an Air India flight bound for Bengaluru from Delhi had to make an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday. The flight, AI 807, departed from Delhi around 6 pm with 175 passengers on board but had to return due to a fire in its air conditioning unit. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported. The flight safely landed back at IGI Airport at 6:38 pm.
In another incident, an Air India flight taxiing for takeoff at Pune Airport experienced a collision with a tug truck on Thursday. Despite the collision causing damage to the aircraft's nose and a tyre near the landing gear, all 180 passengers and crew onboard were reported to be safe.
