Aman Preet Singh, brother of actor Rakul Preet Singh, was arrested in Hyderabad along with four others for alleged cocaine use. Telangana police seized 199 grams of cocaine valued at ₹ 35 lakh, two passports, two bikes, 10 cell phones, and other incriminating materials during a raid on a flat in Hydershakotla in Narsingi.

The operation was conducted by the Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau, Cyberabad police's Special Operations Team (SOT), and Rajendranagar police, targeting drug sellers, including two Nigerians, who were distributing cocaine to high-profile clients in the city. Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty confirmed that Aman was among the customers.

Of the 13 identified consumers, five were arrested and tested positive for cocaine. The arrested individuals are Aniketh, Prasad, Aman, Madhu, and Nikhil.

The Telangana police urged youth and students to avoid drugs and requested parents to monitor their children's activities and contact the police if needed.

Rakul Preet Singh, Aman's sister, was previously summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a drug trafficking and consumption case. The 33-year-old actor's statements were recorded by the agency in 2021 and 2022.
