Anita Goyal, the wife of Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal, passed away in Mumbai on Thursday morning after a prolonged battle with cancer.

Naresh Goyal, recently granted interim bail, was by her side during her final moments. Family sources confirmed her passing around 3 am, with plans for the funeral scheduled later in the day.

Naresh Goyal himself is battling cancer, as revealed in court proceedings where his lawyer cited his declining health.

The Bombay High Court granted him two months of interim bail on medical grounds, following previous refusals of bail. Naresh Goyal faces allegations of money laundering and misappropriation of funds related to Jet Airways, with both him and Anita Goyal being arrested in connection to the case.

Anita Goyal was granted bail promptly due to her age and health condition.
